No matter what type of commercial dehumidifier you may have, the premise/theory remains the same. Most businesses within our region cannot operate successfully if their relative humidity is 55% or higher. Fogging of glass windows and doors typically begins to show at 55% or more. Coils in cases and walk-ins start icing up or frosting over between 55% and 60% relative humidity.
Sometimes, humidity or dampness (water vapor) in the air can supply enough moisture for mold growth. Indoor relative humidity (RH) should be kept below 60 percent - ideally between 30 percent and 50 percent, if possible. Low humidity may also discourage pests, such as cockroaches and dust mites. Please refer to the EPA's website for further information.
Our skilled technicians are trained on dehumidifiers, and ready to handle any situation that arises!
