Welcome to the trade!
We asked prior vocational students who came to Gulf Coast for their internship hours, "why they joined the trade?" "What made them begin the job search?" or say "I'm going to do this as a career?"
"I was intimidated by the trade before I got into it. Definitely a challenging career but very rewarding. I came to Gulf Coast with my EPA Certification and had to complete my Internship hours required by my Vocational School. Gulfcoast trained me as one of their own and provided me all the hours I needed to complete my course."

To the new technicians, keep striving to learn more. The trade is low in numbers and knowledge of the trade is priceless. Take the time to study, perfect your craft, apply for an internship if you need your hours and receive hands on training. With the supply of technicians low, and the demand rising, this trade has the potential to be very rewarding to those who pursue it.
